Charcott Oast
Kent
A complete restoration of this beautiful converted oast house that lies within the historic environs of the hamlet of Charcott.
The extensions were very carefully designed to ensure that each was recessed off the principle front elevation of the house, such that in short and medium distances views each is visually subservient and secondary to the main “body” of the building: a set of principles that responded positively to the vagaries of Green Belt policy.
